Claims for Bowman, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Class are administered by Archery GB clubs. Archers classified as Master Bowman and Grand Master Bowman are invited to the UK Masters national event. Master Bowman and Grand Master Bowman scores must be shot at UK Record Status (UKRS) or World Record Status (WRS) competitions. In order to get a classification you need to achieve a score greater than or equal to the target 3 times in a year, classifications reset after a year so you will need to keep shooting them to maintain your classification. Scores can be shot at a Club Target Day or Open Competition on any of the recognised Archery GB rounds, however as you progress through the handicaps there is a minimum number of arrows and minimum distance required to achieve each classification. These are the classifications with Grand Master Bowman being the highest level: This is a score based scheme for seniors and juniors, shooting the rounds appropriate to their age.
